Welcome to the “new” website! While we were re-imagining how to freshen up our website, we took into account many of the suggestions that our Guests have asked about over the years. Some of the new features on the website include:

  1. “The Online Store @cvccgolf” here you will find gift cards, tee times, league fee payments, outing/event deposit information as well as select merchandise throughout the season!
  2. A totally redesigned and smart Tee Time Reservation screen thanks to our friends at EZLinks Golf.
  3. An easier interface with our Online Food Ordering so you can order any item off of our Restaurant Menu for pick up while you are on the course.
  4. Golf Outings 101: Everything that you need to know in regards to hosting a golf outing at Candlewood can be found on our Golf Outing Page. (if you still need help, we are still happy to help you out – just call!)
  5. Tee Times Online: so you don’t want to scroll though the site to book a tee time? That’s fine! Just click on the green box at the top right of the screen on our home page to schedule a tee time!
  6. Go ahead and keep scrolling, the main menu bar will follow you down. But if you need to get back up to the top of the page really quickly just click on the arrow at the bottom right corner.

This was just one of many changes we have made to enhance the guest experience at Candlewood Valley Country Club! Stay tuned for more…

Candlewood Valley Country Club is Proud To Support Our Veterans!

The American Heroes Veterans Golf League is open to veterans who have served or are actively serving with any branch of the military. At the request of our veterans, the league is also open to friends of veterans.

This is a 16-week, nine-hole league. League night will be every Wednesday beginning May 10th and will end on August 23, 2017. Tee times will run from 4-5 PM. The Awards Celebration and Closing Dinner will be on Wednesday August 30, 2017 at 6:00 PM; this is included with your league dues! Guests are invited at $30/person and must be paid prior to August 30th.

We will be playing eight different formats over the 16 week period, there will be points awarded for 1st through 8th place every week. In addition there will be points awarded just for playing on league night, so showing up counts! There are some events where you will play with a partner or team though it is not necessary to sign up for the league with a partner! It is also not necessary to have a GHIN handicap to play in the American Heroes Golf League.

League dues are $100. You will be responsible for paying weekly greens fees and cart fees if you choose to ride (it is not mandatory). Greens fees are $27 and the cart fee is $10. GHIN handicap fees are not included with league dues. There is limited space in the league, so please sign up early. Applications will not be accepted without payment. If you’d like to pay by credit card, please call us or stop in.

If you have any questions, please call or email us! Disabled or mobility challenged veterans are encouraged to join the American Heroes League. We offer the use of one of three PARAMOBILE Golf Carts to anyone needing an adaptive cart and Candlewood Valley Country Club is the only course in Connecticut to have multiple PARAMOBILES. Please contact us for more info. Use of the PARAMOBILE is always free!
